Culture note: Re-gifting is the practice of passing on, as a gift, an item that was originally received as a gift. This was once considered rude, but is now accepted by some people if “re-gifting rules” are followed.

Culture note: The item must be new, unused, and not handmade. It should be something that the person receiving the gift would appreciate. The person receiving the gift should have no connection to the person who originally gave the gift.
