1.     _________ Chile’s Bachelet takes on subway groping, says no to straying hands

According to recent media reports, many Clilean women- and several men – have complained that Chile’s traditionally macho men have been taking advantage of the Metro’s near seven people per square meter density rate that makes it easy to “grope”, “harass,” or simply “cop a feel.”

“Over the past few days, I have heard about this degrading harassment and groping that women – and some men I should add – are becoming victim to on the Metro,” said Bachelet, adding that she had instructed ministers within her government to prosecute those caught in the act.

2.    _________ Chile: in work but without shelter

It is early evening in central Santiago, and as the city’s workforce bustles home after another busy day, a small group of tired men gather outside an old university building.

These workers are less fortunate than their colleagues; they have no home to go to, and are preparing to spend another night sleeping on the streets. But the truth is that while many of them work, most of them simply don’t earn enough to make ends meet.

3.     _________ Modern Prenthood: Roles of moms and dads converge as they balance work and family

The way mothers and fathers spend their time has changed dramatically in the past half century.

To this respect, the public remains conflicted about what is best for children. Among all adults, only 16% day the ideal situation for a young child is to have a mother who works full time. A plurality of adults (42%) say mothers working part time is ideal, and one-third say it’s best for young children if their mothers do not work at all outside of the home.

4.    _________ The Biggest Credit Mistake People Make

Some credit mistakes are obvious. Everybody knows the big one: Failing to pay your bills on time. If you’re looking to wreck your credit score, there’s no faster way.

Some credit mistakes aren’t so obvious. What’s worse, the biggest secret credit mistake – the one most people don’t even know they’re making – actually happens when people are trying to turn their credit score around and be more financially responsible.
